Add Media Resources

Local Mode

Directly mount cloud drives or access other cloud storage files. No server deployment required.

1. Open the add entry

During initialization, select local service, or go to My → turn off Private Cloud Service, then Library → click the + in the upper right to add.

2. Choose how to add

LAN Discovery: When your phone and NAS are on the same LAN, the app automatically scans and displays available devices. Click the network storage you want to add, then enter account and password to mount.

Manual addition:

  • Local folder: Select a local folder
  • Protocol mount: Select SMB/WebDAV/FTP → fill in IP address, port, account, and password
  • Direct cloud drive: Supports Aliyun Drive, 115, 123. Click to authorize and add.

“Note” and “Name” are custom fields; fill them in as needed to distinguish file sources.

3. Add folder

Navigate to the target folder level, tap “Select”, choose the folder to add, then confirm.

Adding and removing individual files is not supported. Only folder-level add is supported.

Private Cloud Mode

Requires deploying a media server (e.g. NAS) for cross-device sync, user collaboration, and other enhanced features.

1. Open the add entry

Private cloud service is on by default. If you chose local addition during app setup, go to My → enable Private Cloud Service, then Library → click the + in the upper right to add.

2. Choose connection method

  • LAN Discovery: Same as local mode; when devices and NAS are on the same LAN, the app scans and shows addresses. Enter username/password or use a private cloud code (from Cinemore Private Cloud Server) to connect.
  • QR Code: The server backend generates a QR code. Scan with your phone to bind (no manual config).
  • Account login: Enter server address, account, password, and notes to add.
