File Sources
You can think of it as a repository for file sources—a place to manage media resources. It supports adding, removing, renaming, and rescanning file sources.
How to add file sources
- Local addition: Metadata and viewing history are stored locally. Direct and convenient, no server needed, but no cross-device sync or multi-user management.
- Private cloud addition: Deploy a media server on NAS or another device for multi-user management, permissions, cross-device sync, and advanced scraping and management.
Supported file source types
- Local folders: Folders on phone, computer, or NAS
- Network shared files: Samba, WebDAV, FTP, etc.
- Cloud disk files: Aliyun Drive, 115, 123, etc.
Other management operations
Adding private cloud and file sources is covered in Quick Start. Other operations are described here.

- Delete: Click the more icon → Delete to remove the private cloud address; its media resources will be removed from the library.
